The beach at Rhossili is a huge sandy beach which is 3 miles in length attracting visitors from all over the world. One of the best places to enjoy the view is in the beer garden of The Worms Head Hotel where you can also enjoy some locally brewed real ales. We believe the next best place is in our holiday home Caemor Ref 500 which has uninterrupted views of the beach from every room in the house.
With the village of Rhossili perched on the cliff top at one end and Burry Holmes at the other it really does offer spectacular views and scenery.
It was awarded the title of Britain’s Best Beach by TripAdvisor for the second year running in 2014 and was 3rd in Europe and 9th best beach in the world. The Times also nominated it as Britains Best Dog Friendly Beach.
The beach is very popular with surfers and extreme sportspeople with kitesurfing and paragliding being just two of the popular past times that can be viewed regularly.
Parking and toilet facilities are available, along with refreshments at the Bay Bistro Cafe or The Worms Head Hotel. There is a village shop and a National Trust Shop in the village.
