Worms Head is one of the most prominent landmarks on Gower. Located at the south-western tip of Gower, nr the village of Rhossili, it is a tidal island that can be reached on foot during low tide.

The Worm is owned and protected by the National Trust and is a designated National Nature Reserve, due to the nesting birds on the island.

The sea-serpent shaped island is made up of two heads: the inner and outer head, they are joined by a lower section known as devils bridge.

To get to the Worm park in the Pay and Display car park in Rhossili and follow the coastal path towards the worm which can be easily seen in the distance. There is also a regular bus service running from Swansea to Rhossili.
